Picture Post: Not Photoshopped

This is a billboard I saw when I was driving through the eastern tip of Tennessee. I couldn’t believe that this was a serious advertisement for a legal business, not a Failblog joke, but I was there and I am sure they weren’t kidding. Ah, the glorious South. Check out the camouflage appearance of the building!

Was that your first trip to the south? You really need to get deeper in and then you’ll see all sorts of interesting stuff.

Nope – both my parents are Southern and I spent much of my childhood there, in various places. This was just the most recent example I had access to.

I was driving in Maine on my way to my sister’s wedding when I saw a run down shop on the side of the road. The sign on the side read “Beer + Ammo.”
